Let the Music Lead You!
DJ Jamton found his love for music while still a young child. Before the age of 10 he would climb on a drum kit left idle at his parent's night club from the performing band of the week. He would entertain the adults with no formal training and nothing but a natural feel for rhythm. His father quickly enrolled him in private lessons with a talented jazz drummer that played regularly at the club.
For Christmas while in 8th grade he received his first guitar after developing a passion for the instrument while attending rock concerts of popular artists of the day. He went on to play high school parties and events as part of high school rock bands.
After high school DJ Jamton went on to music school in Minneapolis, Minnesota diving into rock and jazz music styles. Learning from multiple experts in music and enjoying the influence of an amazing music scene that only Minneapolis has to offer. He shared the stage with Prince's drummer and recorded music on the same mixing board as Janet Jackson.
